In the 17th Century the Family Lichtle moved to Gueberschwihr and since then winemaking has been its main activity.  The domaine Lichtle et Fils works 5ha of vines of which 1ha are in the Grand Cru Goldert.  Our methods are those that respect nature and the environement and our wine-making methods have stayed very traditional always priviledging quality and not quantity.  The cellar with it's old and new tanks are awaiting you in our cellars for a complimentary tasting of our wines and of course a visit of the property.

Crémant d’Alsace
Dry, fruity, easy to drink goes very well with seafood.
Alsace rosé light, fruity made from the pinot noir variety of grapes

Dry, delicately fruity. Perfect with fish.
Only variety in Alsace to produce a red wine, goes well red meat, game and cheese.
A rich slightly smoky wine. Absolutely perfect with Foie Gras, game and white meat.
This is a pinot gris which has matured in an new oak cask for 10 months.

Fruity aroma, great on it’s own or with cheese, desserts and exotic cuisine.

This is where exposition, soil and the climate come together to produce wine of exception.
           
Made from grapes which have matured longer on the vines during which they gain in sugar concentration.
This makes for a rich round wine perfect for dessert and Foie Gras.
       
Sparkling white wine.
